Approve the Adoption of New and Revised Policies as Advertised in October 2015
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On October 13, 2015, the School Board approved the proper advertisement of new and revised policies. Advertising of these policies, as required by law, was published in the Florida Sentinel Bulletin, La Gaceta, Tampa Bay Times, and the Tampa Tribune on October 16, 2015, and were available for comment. After completion of the advertisement period set forth by state statute, the Superintendent recommends approval to adopt these policies.

Funds in the amount of $750.00 will be available in the districtwide site budget - Professional Technical Services - Policy Revisions. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5376. As of Tuesday, November 10, 2015, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $750.00. There is no financial impact to the district other than the cost of advertising as required by law.
