| Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Prismatic Services Inc. for the Evaluation of the School Climate Transformation Grant (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| This agreement is required to meet the evaluation requirement of the School Climate Transformation grant to assess the effectiveness of project activities to fulfill the project purpose, priorities, and expected grant outcomes. Prismatic Services, Inc. was selected to serve as a third-party project evaluator based on their responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) 11143-DST Program Evaluation Services. The RFP process provided an opportunity for all interested evaluators to apply as potential Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) program evaluation providers.
The School Climate Transformation grant is in the second-year of a five-year grant cycle and is one of three "Now is the Time" federal initiative grants awarded to HCPS for improving school climate and safety. Executive summary continued on Attachment A. |

As of Monday, November 30, 2015, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $750,000.00. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| The Coordinator of Grant Evaluations within the Assessment and Accountability Department has direct supervision of the selected external evaluator. The coordinator oversees the activities and tracks to ensure completion and transmission of required reports to the funding agency. | |
