Approve Reorganization of the Logistics Operations and Furniture Repair Departments | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Logistics Operations began an initial reorganization in July 2013, where 15 Transport Equipment Operators and Laborers were reassigned from the Furniture Repair Department to the Logistics Operations warehouse to streamline the services being offered in the district and eliminate multiple district vehicles going to the same site on the same day. This has worked extremely well and has increased the performance of the department. The proposed reorganization will include:
These proposed changes will result in improved operational efficiency of the department while aligning positions to the expanded job duties being performed and developing an improved career ladder in the department. |
