Approve the Change to the Administrative Evaluation Measures for the 2015-2016 Principal and Assistant Principal Evaluations
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Based on input received from the principal and assistant principal councils and as recommended by the Superintendent, the multiple measures on the current principal's evaluation will be rated by the assigned Area Superintendent. Additional measures on the assistant principal's evaluation will be rated by the assigned principal. The assigned VAM calculation will remain at 40% in alignment with the current instructional evaluation system. Additional input and data measures will be provided from teacher feedback, human resources, and school operations. These additional measures will assist the evaluator when completing the school leader competency rubric which will be weighted at 60% of the overall evaluation.
