Approve the One-Stop Career Center System Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tampa Bay Work Alliance d/b/a/ Career Source Tampa Bay, 2016/2017 | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The purpose of the Region 15 One-Stop Customer Service Delivery System MOU with CareerSource Tampa Bay is to establish the agreement between the parties to serve as the One-Stop Operator for the operations of the local workforce board for Region 15, which serves Hillsborough County, Florida. The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, as the local education agency, is designated as a mandatory partner. As a mandatory partner, the School Board occupies a seat on the Region 15 CareerSource Board and is a voting member of the Board of Directors. The remaining seats on the Board of Directors are held by local business and labor representatives.
This MOU is required to be signed by the Hillsborough Board of County Commission. The policy of the Board of County Commission is to be the last signer on an agreement. |
