Approve the Educational Internship Agreement with Hillsborough Community College to Allow Select Students to Complete a Part of the Required Educational Rotation with Student Nutrition Services (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough Community College provides courses of study in Nutrition and Culinary Management. As a part of the education program, students are required to receive unpaid work experience. This partnership with Student Nutrition Services (SNS) allows students to gain this valuable experience while working with SNS staff on various projects that further the mission and goals of the program. It also offers the students an invaluable opportunity to explore career options in school food service. This contract was reviewed and approved by the School Board Attorney on December 7, 2015. |
