Approve the Agreement for Technical Services for NatSoft Corporation to Provide Infor Lawson S3 Systems Support (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On February 2, 2016, the Board approved an agreement to provide Infor Lawson S3 system administration services necessary to maintain the day-to-day operations of the district's enterprise resource planning software. The agreement was based on the Procurement Department’s advertised Request for Quote (RFQ) #13073-DST: IT Supplemental Staffing. There were 11 candidates presented and reviewed from the quote. The NatSoft Corporation candidate was the lowest hourly rate of the qualified candidates. The agreement ends on May 3, 2016. This agenda item lengthens the services for an additional 12 months. The extended time will help address the unexpected departure of the district’s staff member responsible for this function, who accepted a position outside the district.  This new agreement will ensure the continued stability of the Lawson S3 system and enable proper knowledge transfer when a new staff member is hired.

Funds in the amount of $137,632.00 will be available in the E-Rate Rebate budget. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5311. As of Thursday, April 7, 2016, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $137,632.00.
EVALUATION
The consultant is under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, Infrastructure and Shared Services within the Information and Technology Division, who assigns and reviews tasks and priorities on a weekly basis.
