Review the Proposed 2016/2017 Student Handbook
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Student Handbook is available to parents and students every school year as a reference to district and school procedures.  It is available online through mySpot, the district website or a hard copy can be requested.  Many topics are covered in order to inform parents and students of their rights and responsibilities at school.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Challenge and support all students with an appropriate curriculum • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
