Approve the Naming of the Gymnasium at Robinson High School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Robinson High School faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and community members have requested that the gymnasium at Robinson High School be named after Herman J. Valdes.

Herman J. Valdes served the students and school district throughout his career in a variety of positions including teacher, coach, and administrator. Mr. Valdes is described as a man of great character who put his players and students first.  The endless hours he spent in the gymnasium coaching both boys baseketball and girls volleyball demonstrated his dedication and commitment to the Robinson Knights.

It would be an honor to the faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and community members to name the Robinson High School gymnasium in honor of Mr. Herman J. Valdes.

There is no financial impact to the district for the naming of a gymnasium.
