EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Hillsborough Soil and Water Conservation District has announced the “Hillsborough 100 Conservation Challenge” for April 22-28, 2017. This initiative will be a comprehensive program involving urban, suburban, and rural communities in a coordinated effort to complete 100 conservation projects in one week in Hillsborough County, Florida. The goal of this program is to bring greater awareness of how everyone can become committed to conservation and make Hillsborough County a national model in this effort.
The projects will involve youth organizations, civic clubs, educational institutions, governmental entities, chambers of commerce, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO), and individuals working together to spread the conservation message. Each project will aim to enhance the overall conservation effort and be determined by the individual groups in coordination with the Hillsborough Soil and Water Conservation District. |
