On October 4, 2016, the School Board Approved Item C1.02, the Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement Between Hillsborough Community College and The School Board of Hillsborough County, FL.

We are requesting approval of this Amendment, which will permit the students with an unweighted high school GPA of 2.50 or higher to be eligible to enroll in the Associate in Science Program for Engineering Technology or in the College Credit Certificate in Internet Services Technology Web Design Specialist – Designer.

This will provide additional Dual Enrollment opportunities for a broader group of students who would otherwise not have access to this acceleration option.  Florida Statute Section 1007.271, establishes the student eligibility requirements for Dual Enrollment.
