|Approve the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2017 (Business Services Division)|
|On September 12, 2017, the unaudited Report of Financial Data (Superintendent’s Annual Financial Report) was submitted to the Board for approval and subsequently sent to the Florida Department of Education, as required by law. The PAFR submitted here is in addition to the District’s audited financial statements, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
This report summarizes financial activities and is intended to create an awareness of the financial operations in our District and provide transparency to the community.
This year will be the first PAFR our District has submitted to the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) for evaluation of the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting. The award is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports.

|FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)|
|The District’s Central Printing shop will provide the cover, paper, printing, and binding of this report at a cost of $38.75. The cost to submit the PAFR to GFOA is $225. The funds for these costs are available in the Accounting Department’s budget.|
