SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Piggyback of the Agreement Between Orange County Public Schools and DeMoulin Brothers & Company - Request for Proposal (RFP) #1609224 Marching Band Uniforms (Business Services Division)
|If approved, the district will utilize this bid to purchase band uniforms districtwide, as necessary. Replacement of uniforms is typically done on a rotating schedule where three schools purchase new uniforms every nine years.
In accordance with the Florida Department of Education Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(6), in lieu of requesting competitive solicitations from three or more sources, district school boards may make purchases at or below specific prices from contracts awarded by other city or county governmental agencies, or other district school boards.
• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds in the amount of $150,000 are allocated in the Secondary Music Department budget for the purchase of band uniforms. For tracking purposes the project number specific to this agenda is 5358. Funds will be allocated in the 2018/2019 fiscal year.
Contract administration and evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (the "End User") and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team, by utilizing an online vendor performance report or via in-person reviews. The evaluation consists of an assessment of the vendor-provided goods and services, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements. The resulting data will support renewal decisions and/or alterations to a new agreement.
