SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Tampa Bay Rays' Memo of Agreement Supporting Multiple Educational Programs and Extracurricular Activities for Students and Families (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Tampa Bay Rays are a committed community partner that enhances school programs by providing support to all students and staff of PreK-20 schools in Hillsborough County through experiential learning, school community outreach, and in-kind donations. The program includes: Spirit Night events for families and staff, player and mascot visits to schools and district sites, student contests, and staff incentive support.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
This partner donates in excess of $240,000 annually through grant and in-kind support with the possibility of enhanced school-based philanthropic efforts.
EVALUATION
Participating school administrators will be surveyed at the end of each school year to provide feedback, enhancements, and recommendations.
