| Approve the Recommended Titles as Adopted Instructional Materials for Physical Science Honors (Office of Teaching and Learning) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A district Instructional Materials Selection Committee was formed in compliance with district instructional materials adoption procedures to review and recommend the materials for adoption. A public review was advertised via the district's website from February 19, 2019, through March 11, 2019, and a public hearing was held at the School Board meeting on March 12, 2019. Upon Board approval, a resident of Hillsborough County may file a petition within 30 days to contest the adoption. A public hearing will be held on all petitions timely received. The adoption process was conducted in accordance with Board Policy 2510 and administrative procedures that include the following requirements:

| Funds in the amount of $1,027,011 will be available from the Instructional Materials Categorical budget, Project 4509. Funds in the amount of $236,491 will be available from the Science Lab Categorical budget, Project 4506. The final cost will be determined based on actual enrollment. | |
