SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Amendments Nine and Ten of the No Capital Outlay Plan Agreement with Minimise, USA, LLC, for the Energy Management Project (Business Services Division) (Revision to Attachment:  combined prior attachments; signature pages added; correction to page 9)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The No Capital Outlay Plan Agreement is being updated through: Amendment Nine which includes an “Energy Management Engineer” that will work hand-in-hand with the district on auditing all HVAC and roof replacement upgrades. This collaboration is transparent and aims to enhance best practices, allow for an “expert in the field” approach, and maximize operational efficiency. Amendment Ten which accounts for the district’s existing life safety and security conditions, aims to replace over 21,000 existing emergency light fixtures that have passed their useful life and integrate them into the “Internet of Things” (IoT) technology. Such replacements and integrations aim to enhance our life safety and security measures districtwide.
