Recognition of Hillsborough County Public Schools Employees for Walking over 150 Million Steps in the Challenge for a Cause (Human Resources Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The District's health insurance carrier, Humana, challenged employees in the district to walk a total of 150,000,000 steps during the Challenge for a Cause. By meeting the goal, Humana would donate $20,000 to the American Heart Association on behalf of our District. With 1,205 employees participating in the challenge, they walked 316,257,893 steps and Humana donated $20,000. The top school team was Collins Elementary who walked over one million steps. | |
