EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
PEAK Learning Systems will provide intensive training and coaching on engagement strategies for students from poverty. PEAK will assist teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and highly rigorous classroom environment. The PEAK team tailors to the Teaching for Excellence Model and provides professional development and coaching to meet the needs and expectation of the district. | |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Funds in the amount of $58,000 will be available in the School Improvement Grant-TOP 3. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3367. As of March 1, 2019, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $58,104. | |
EVALUATION | |
We expect to see an increase in student achievement based on Florida Standards Assessments and End-of-Course Assessments scores for 2019/2020. In the short term, the leadership team will collect observation data on student engagement and the use of tools provided by PEAK Learning Systems. | |
