Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Phase Two (2) of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning System Replacement at Gorrie Elementary School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for HVAC replacement at Gorrie Elementary School.  On February 6, 2018, the Board appointed Engineering Professionals, Inc. and Charles Perry Partners, Inc. to provide design and construction management services, respectively. The project scope for Phase Two (2) consists of removing existing air handlers, condensing units, refrigerant piping, variable air volume (VAV) boxes, ductwork transitions at the air handler units, exhaust fans and controls in Buildings 1, 3 and 8. This work completes the HVAC upgrade at Gorrie Elementary School which commenced in the summer of 2018.

Due to the magnitude of the project and the limited time to complete the work, the project was divided into two phases.

Projects completion of Phase Two (2) is scheduled for August 1, 2019.
