EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Career and Technical Education department of Hillsborough County Public Schools, in partnership with the Council for Educational Change, organized the Information Technology Career Awareness Leadership Forum over four sessions from January to March 2019 focused on providing a variety of information on information technology-related careers and encouraging schools to share their new found knowledge. This program was funded by the Hillsborough Education Foundation through a grant from Citi. Teams from 13 high schools participated in the forum. Each school team consisted of a principal or administrative representative, faculty member, and at least two students. Teams were asked to create a comprehensive Implementation Plan that addressed how the information gained would be communicated in their unique school settings.

This program was supported by staff members from a wide variety of partners across Hillsborough County, including the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Citi, Sofwerx, Vaco, Sauce Labs, and the University of South Florida.
