SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Temporary Classroom Portables at McDonald Elementary School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As part of a recent security assessment, District staff selected Renker, Eich, Parks Architects, Inc. and Batson-Cook Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for the installation, hook-up and furniture installation of temporary portable classrooms at McDonald Elementary School.
 
Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project.

Project completion is scheduled for August 1, 2019.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The GMP recommended for approval is $811,714, which is available in the Local Millage fund.
