Recognition of the Prudential Spirit of Community Award (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is a national program honoring middle and high school level students for outstanding volunteer service.  Prudential Financial, in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, sponsors the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. Thousands of young people across the country were considered for the 2019 Spirit of Community Awards.  From all of these, one middle level and one high school level student in each state and the District of Columbia have been selected for special recognition. This year's recipient, Vance Tomasi, from Farnell Middle School, will represent the state of Florida in the National competition which will be held in Washington, D.C., in May 2019.
