SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Contract for the Medicaid Data Management Partnership with The Pepin Academies (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida (HCPS) will provide billing services and program supervision to maintain compliance with Medicaid policy under the auspices of HCPS Medicaid provider number as required by State policy. HCPS has the unencumbered capacity to accept responsibility for processing Medicaid billing for this charter school. Acceptance of this responsibility will not result in any additional personnel or payroll costs for HCPS. This contract is in effect beginning May 8, 2019, and remains in force unless terminated per the contract.

• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Anticipated annual revenue will be minimal and will offset any expenses for HCPS.
