Approve the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Between Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center (BSAC) and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, (HCPS) for the Implementation and Operation of Before School, After School, and Summer Programs (Academic Support and Federal Programs) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The purpose of the MOA is to establish an agreement between HCPS and BSAC concerning their respective roles and responsibilities. This collaboration will ensure quality care for students and families in our community. BSAC began providing programs on August 10, 2017. This one-year MOA is in effect for the purposes of serving students from August 12, 2019, through the end of summer 2020 programming. | |

• Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Fees paid by BSAC to HCPS for use of school sites shall be used toward operation of the school facility. The amount of $107,185.56 is the total paid to HCPS from August 2019, through May 2020, equaling a full school year. | |
EVALUATION | |
An annual program review report for the 2018/2019 BSAC program will include results from student, parent, and principal surveys. | |
