SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Interagency Agreement with the Tampa Housing Authority (THA) to Implement the Strategies of Support for Students and Families Residing in THA Properties (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Tampa Housing Authority and Hillsborough County Public Schools have established a mechanism to promote the mutual goals of getting students residing in THA properties prepared for school, monitoring attendance records, monitoring discipline issues, heading off and preventing early drop-outs, as well as encouraging and celebrating success and graduation.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders

No financial impact on district; donation provided to students and schools.
