Approve Acceptance for the Culinary Arts Classroom Conversion at Durant High School (Operations Division) |
|
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Durant High School had been using a standard classroom as a culinary arts laboratory since the school opened in 1995. With the success and popularity of the Culinary Arts programs district-wide, it was determined that the lab at Durant should be renovated. District staff selected Rowe Architecture Incorporated and Williams Company Tampa from the approved Continuing Services Consultant list to provide design and construction management services, respectively. The project scope included the conversion and modification of the existing Home Economic Lab into a Culinary Arts Lab/Classroom.
The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
