SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Subscription Agreement and Purchase of Ellevation Education Software from Ellevation Inc. (Sole-Source Provider) (Office of Teaching and Learning)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Ellevation Education Software organizes all English Language Learner (ELL) information and data for a school district into one dashboard. It allows teachers, specialists, and administrators to collaborate on individual ELL instructional plans and goals; monitor the academic and language acquisition progress of ELLs; communicate with parents; and access districtwide data. The Ellevation InClass component of the dashboard allows classroom teachers to identify ELL students and access their Individual Education Plan in order to organize and plan instruction accordingly. In addition, teachers can track test accommodations for current students, as well as receive information for reclassified students exited from the program and require subsequent monitoring. The award of this agreement will be for a one year renewal. There is a 30-day termination convenience clause included in this agreement. All prices offered are firm against any increase for at least one year from the effective date. This agreement will be reviewed and evaluated annually and may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications. In accordance with the Florida Department of Education Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(12)(d), commodities on contractual service available from only a single source may be exempted from the competitive solicitation requirements. When a district school board believes that commodities or contractual service are available only from a single source as specified by the FLDOE, the district school board may negotiate on the best terms and conditions with the single source vendor. |
