Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Phase 1 of the Reconstruction at Tampa Heights Elementary School (Operations Division)
On October 2, 2018, the Board approved the appointment of Fleischman-Garcia Architects and Planners, AIA, PA and J.E. Dunn Construction Company to provide design and construction management services, respectively.
In an effort to improve the overall construction schedule, the project has been divided in two phases. The design has now progressed to the point where Phase 1, consisting of demolition, foundation and structural components, can commence.
Approval of the Phase 1 Guaranteed Maximum price (GMP) will establish the maximum cost for this phase of the project.
Phase 1 project completion is scheduled for November 30, 2019. Overall project completion is scheduled for November 23, 2020.

|FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)|
The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $3,214,904, which will be reimbursed by Insurance.
