A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) renovation at Morgan Woods Elementary School. On September 19, 2017, the Board appointed Ossi Consulting Engineers, Inc. and Gilbane Building Company to provide design and construction management services. The project scope consisted of the replacement of chiller plants, including system piping, air handling unit (AHU), ductwork, controls, test and balance, and demolition to include assistance in the assessment of salvageable equipment and the recovery of refrigerant.

The design professional has certified that the work is now fully complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
