Approve the Statement of Work (SOW) with iBi Solutions for Analytics and Data Warehouse Development and Support (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This agenda item augments Information Technology staff with contractors to continue support of our data warehouse, employee and student analytics. Specific contractors, currently employed at iBi Solutions, have worked on prior engagements with the district and have unique knowledge and expertise regarding several of our systems. Leveraging these individuals provides a more cost-effective solution for staff augmentation than training contractors with no district analytics experience.  The SOW includes services for software design, development, testing, and administration for the analytics and data warehouse system. The data warehouse system encompasses support for several critical applications, such as Student Information System (SIS) vendor interfaces, Teacher Evaluation Verification, and English for Speakers of Other Languages verification. This additional support is needed for several large Information Technology projects that are impacting these systems, including the upgrade to the Infor (US), Inc. Enterprise Resources Planning Software, implementation of a new SIS, and migration to a new database platform. Additionally, our systems must be kept in compliance with Florida Department of Education requirements, Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association, and internal district business processes. This SOW is governed by the terms of the Master Services Agreement between the district and iBi Solutions approved by the Board on April 21, 2015.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funding will not exceed $81,900 and are included in the Information Technology budget for this expense.  iBi Solutions provides services on a time and materials basis with no additional travel or per diem expenses.
EVALUATION
Information Technology staff will evaluate the consulting agreement with iBi Solutions, Inc. based on the accuracy and timeliness of the deliverables as outlined in the SOW. District staff monitors and reviews their performance through discussions during status meetings and project plan reviews.
