Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Sidewalk Improvements at Rodgers Middle School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for sidewalk improvements at Rodgers Middle School.  District staff selected Key Engineering Associates, Inc. and Rex Farlow Construction, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services, respectively.  The scope of work includes construction of a sidewalk along the north shoulder of Tucker Road at Rodgers Middle School.

Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project.

Project completion is scheduled for August 11, 2019.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) recommended for approval is $605,079, which is available in the Local Millage fund.
