Approve Award of Contract for Roof Replacement at Roland Park K-8 School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The District's referendum advertisement provides for several roof replacements within the District.  The scope of work consists of a total roof replacement of the entire campus at Roland Park K-8 School.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attached bid tabulation).  Award of the contract for construction to the lowest qualified bidder, Southern Roofing Company, Inc., is recommended.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The contract amount being awarded is $1,808,060, which is available in the Sales Tax Referendum fund.
