Information overview of Payroll Schedules for 2019/2020 Fiscal Year (Business Service Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Payroll schedules for the 2019/2020 fiscal year originally approved on May 7, 2019, based on the previously approved school calendars and the employee work calendars prepared by the Division of Human Resources.

Recent changes to employee work calendars require several modifications to the original payroll schedules as noted and highlighted in the attached document on the first page.

The district has developed a more consistent approach to the equalization of employee’s pay to provide optimal leveling of pay to prevent paycheck shortages at Winter and Spring Breaks.  We have worked with our union teams, school district departments and employees; this will allow employees to plan their finances accordingly with minimal fluctuation of pay throughout the contractual year.  Employees will see a slight increase in their Equalized Pay Plan contribution amount, which affords a more reliable pay amount for each paycheck. Documents regarding the Equalized Payment Plan have been added to the payroll schedules.

EVALUATION
Payroll schedules are reviewed and updated throughout the year.  Changes in work calendars, number of student days or other significant events may cause adjustments to the payroll schedules.
