Volunteer and Faith-Based Strategies and Initiatives Update (Community Relations)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board, Superintendent, and staff hold the rights and needs of our students in the highest regard by taking inquiries seriously and by ensuring all information is transparent and accurate. Hillsborough County Public Schools remains inclusive and respectful for all, by implementing protocols, policies, and procedures which offers unbiased safeguards for our students and schools. The district is careful that all of its actions are lawful and respectful of others as directed by statute, district policy, procedures, and legal counsel.  Trainings and other actions align with such laws and policies.

The district is committed to equity, responsiveness, and respect for all students and continues to monitor inquiries related to our faith-based partnerships, associations,  student-led clubs, and volunteer services processes.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Develop a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health
