For over 25 years, Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has had a contract with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to provide lunches and snacks for all children participating in summer programs throughout the county at their approved sites. This is especially important for children who may live in a food insecure household and who would normally take advantage of free breakfast and lunch programs during the school year. The term of this agreement crosses two fiscal years, June 3, 2019, (FY19) through August 2, 2019 (FY20). Twelve additional sites have been added to the Agreement.

Approve Amendment to Interlocal Agreement Between the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida to Provide Meals for Children Participating in Summer Programs (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
For over 25 years, Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has had a contract with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to provide lunches and snacks for all children participating in summer programs throughout the county at their approved sites. This is especially important for children who may live in a food insecure household and who would normally take advantage of free breakfast and lunch programs during the school year. FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Student Nutrition Program's net revenue over expenses is projected at $208,6700.00.
