SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services # 19167-ATS-IV with Advanced Learners Private Tutoring, LLC to Provide Services at Acts, A Kid's Place, The Children's Home, Everyday Blessings, Joshua House, Metropolitan Ministries, and The Spring (Academic Support and Federal Programs)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Advanced Learners Private Tutoring, LLC will provide intensive reading programs to students in grades K-12. The program will include small group instruction with a proven research-based curriculum, Winning Reading Boost, and supplemental tutoring for one-on-one instruction in any subject or grade level including Pre-K, post-graduate, and adult education. Methods used in the delivery of service include in person on-site tutoring, lectures, demonstrations and discussions. Modified services with supplemental materials focusing on skills covered on the Florida Standards Assessment test for reading and math, will include tutor management, pre/post assessments, weekly progress reports, and end of year evaluation reports for all students served.

Funds in the amount of $97,440 will be available in the Title I Part D allowable set aside account. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3857.
EVALUATION
Advanced Learners will administer a pretest at the beginning of the contract period, and a posttest at the end of the contract period, to participating students to determine if documented objectives of the program were achieved. Progress reports will be shared regularly with district staff, the program supervisor, and/or designee to discuss progress of the program. Data will be analyzed to determine the success of the program and future contracts with the provider. At the conclusion of the program, a final report will be shared with district staff.
