On October 2, 2018, the Board approved the appointment of Fleischman-Garcia Architects and Planners, AIA, PA and J.E. Dunn Construction Company to provide design and construction management services, respectively.

In an effort to improve the overall construction schedule, the project has been divided in two phases. Phase 1 consisted of demolition, foundation and structural components. Phase 2 construction is the physical rebuilding of the new school.

Approval of the Phase 2 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the maximum cost for this phase of the project.

Phase 2 project substantial completion is currently scheduled for November 23, 2020.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The Guaranteed Maximum Price recommended for approval is $21,779,272, which will be reimbursed by Insurance.
