Approve the New Job Description for Wellness Coordinator, Student Nutrition (Operations)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The attached job description details a new position within Student Nutrition Services.   The Wellness Coordinator, Student Nutrition, will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing district-wide wellness initiatives and programs that encourage healthy lifestyles for students and staff.   The Wellness Coordinator, Student Nutrition, will ensure that the district follows all policy requirements as mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture, the Florida Department of Agriculture, and the district's board-approved Wellness Policy.   See the attached job description for specific duties and responsibilities of this position.

This position is funded by Special Revenue Food Service funds; it is part-time and has a salary range of $33,001.32 to $52,037.04.
