Going for the Gold Hillsborough County Public Schools 90X20 Mission Update (Academic Support and Federal Programs)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Going for the Gold Hillsborough County Public Schools 90X20 (G4G) mission is to increase graduation rates and reduce dropout rates by supporting all students in reaching their full potential in school, at home and in the community.

G4G stakeholders (parents, students, community members, businesses, schools, and political leaders) have been empowered with research-based strategies that ensure academic student success through the connection of four G4G pillars (Diversity/Cultural Responsiveness, Build Relationships/District Culture, Health and Wellness, and Graduation 90x20 Focus on Attendance). Strategic Objectives are to increase stakeholder participation in G4G programs in order to increase graduation rates for HCPS students and to increase attendance rates at G4G schools for minority students.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Develop, recognize, and reward employees • Develop a culture of respect, trust, collaboration and equity • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems

There is no financial impact to the district.
