EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
American Education Week spotlights the crucial need to create great public schools for all students and raise awareness that educators, parents, community members, business leaders, elected officials, and students all have a part to play in supporting the teaching and learning process.  American Education Week presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
