SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement with the Florida State Fair Authority for High School Graduations (Chief of Schools)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
High school graduations for 2020 will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall for 27 high schools, adult education, technical colleges, and career centers.  Graduations are scheduled for May 21, 2020, through May 30, 2020.  The back-up day is scheduled for May 31, 2020. The Florida State Fair Authority requests the School Board Chair's signature to be the first signature on the contract to acknowledge acceptance prior to their final signature.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $168,356.07 will be available in the Administration Division - Graduation Rental budget. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 5300.
EVALUATION
This contract will be reviewed and tracked annually to look for variations and cost-saving measures for future graduation ceremonies.
