Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Synthetic Turf Project at Sligh Middle School (Operations Division) |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
In an effort to mitigate the on-going cost of natural turf maintenance, the Operations Group has elected to install an artificial play surface within the new running track at Sligh Middle School. District staff selected Skanska USA Building, Inc. and Key Engineering Associates, Inc. The scope of work provides for an artificial turf field as provided by Foreverlawn of Tampa Bay. Approval of the GMP will establish the cost for the project. Project completion is scheduled for February 21, 2020. |

The GMP recommended for approval is $870,125, which is available in the Local Millage fund.
