Approve the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2019 (Business Services Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The PAFR is in addition to the district’s audited financial statements, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This report summarizes financial activities and is intended to create an awareness of the financial operations in our district and provide transparency to the community. Last year, the PAFR was submitted to the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) for evaluation of the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting. This was the second year the PAFR received this award. |

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
The district’s Central Printing shop will provide the cover, paper, printing, and binding of this report at a cost of $270. The cost to submit the PAFR to GFOA is $225. The funds for these costs are available in the Accounting Department’s budget. | |
