Recognition of Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) as Silver Level for the American Heart Association's (AHA) Workplace Health Achievement Index (Human Resources Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The American Heart Association has identified best practices for employers implementing a culture of health for their employees. These practices include leadership, organizational policies, communications, programs, engagement, community partnerships, and reporting outcomes. As a result of our health and wellbeing initiatives, HCPS has been recognized at the Silver Level on the AHA Workplace Achievement Index. This is the highest level a first-time applicant can receive. We are excited to be recognized by the American Heart Association as having a healthy workplace, especially as we are seeing employee engagement in our health and wellbeing program at an all-time high. | |
