SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services #19235-ATS-IV with Prismatic Services, Inc., for the Evaluation of the Title III English Language Learners (ELL) Grant Project (Office of Strategy Management)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Title III ELL grant project's purpose is to support, enhance, and improve student performance levels for ELL students. This agreement for evaluation services is recommended in order to fulfill the Title III ELL grant project requirement for a third-party evaluation consultant for the 2019/2020 school year grant period. Grant evaluation services include evaluation design assistance, data analysis, and a comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds in the amount of $10,000 will be available in the Title III grant for evaluation services. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to this agenda item is 3561. As of November 11, 2019, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this item equaled $10,000.
EVALUATION
The Office of Strategy Management has direct supervision of the selected external evaluator, oversees the evaluation activities, tracks progress, and ensures reporting compliance as well as transmission of all required reports to the funding agency.
