Approve the Proclamation of Supporting Statewide Efforts to Educate Students on the Dangers of Vaping (Communications)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A proclamation to support efforts in the Florida Legislature to discourage vaping and e-cigarette use by children and young adults in a statewide effort to counteract this public health crisis.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Improve Student Achievement • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Continuously improve processes and systems • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety: student, employee, visitor, facility, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
