EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Saint Leo University's educational program known as the 'Paraprofessional to Professional Program' (PTP) allows district-employed paraprofessionals an opportunity to pursue a bachelor of arts degree in education resulting in an increase in the number of paraprofessionals who are eligible to become teachers in Hillsborough County Public Schools. | |

EVALUATION | |
Currently, Hillsborough County Public Schools has over 200 paraprofessionals contributing to student learning across the district. Participating in Saint Leo's PTP Program will result in paraprofessionals continuing their positive impact on student learning as they pursue a degree in education and eligibility to become Hillsborough County Public School teachers. | |
