As part of a recent security assessment, District staff selected Renker, Eich, Parks Architects, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. Batson-Cook Company was selected through a selection committee to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for interior wall renovation and HVAC replacement at McDonald Elementary School.

Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project.

Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2020.

Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Interior Wall Reconfigurations and Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement at McDonald Elementary School (Operations Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As part of a recent security assessment, District staff selected Renker, Eich, Parks Architects, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. Batson-Cook Company was selected through a selection committee to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for interior wall renovation and HVAC replacement at McDonald Elementary School. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2020.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The GMP recommended for approval is $5,417,679, which is available in the Local Millage fund.
