SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Administrative Appointment of the Supervisor, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), Improvement and Accountability (Academic Support and Federal Programs)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This position will support for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) area teams; assist schools with the implementation of ESE programs, curriculum, and procedures; provide oversight of the State Performance Plan; and provide oversight of Choice Options for students with disabilities.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Improve the high school graduation rate • Improve Student Achievement • Provide a student-centered learning environment that engages every child • Recruit, support, and retain a highly effective and diverse workforce • Develop a culture of respect, trust, collaboration and equity • Engage and communicate with families and stakeholders • Establish a strong foundation of financial stewardship
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
This position will be funded with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) funds.
EVALUATION
Yearly evaluations will be conducted through the Human Resources evaluation process.
