SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Increase in Expenditures for Various District Agreements for Maintenance and Repair (Business Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Hillsborough County Public Schools has various agreements for the purchase, installation, repair, and maintenance of multiple district maintenance necessities, including but not limited to, roofing, paving, playgrounds, elevators, flooring, and painting. As each agreement has been awarded by the Board, the approved expenditure has been based on the trends and projected needs at that time. Since the passing of the Tax Referendum, the approved expenditures on multiple agreements need to be increased in preparation for the addition of newly added upcoming projects. Projects currently planned through June 2021 are detailed on the attached spreadsheet. As projects are added, a revised listing will be brought for Board approval.

The financial impact and increase in expenditures for each district agreement is attached.
EVALUATION
Contract administration and evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (the “End User”) and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team, by utilizing an online vendor performance report or via in-person reviews. The evaluation consists of an assessment of the contractor-provided goods and services, deliverables, and compliance with contractual requirements. The resulting data will support renewal decisions and/or alterations to a new agreement.
